OberAlp Convention VR app for iPhone and iPad

Oberalp Convention VR is the Oberalp Group’s Virtual Reality app, which takes you to Alpbach, to live again the mood of the new winter collections’ presentation event.

Into app’s home section you can first select the convention’s year, and secondly explore the event from the brand’s point of view, choosing between Salewa or Dynafit.
Thanks to Oberalp Convention VR you have the possibility to visit both brands’ showroom, to give a look to the fashion show, and to discover both new collection of Salewa and Dynafit. A specific code is required to gain access to the app, because of its exclusive contents. You can find this code into Cardboard’s packaging, distributed by Oberalp Group.

The app offers you two different vision’s modes: 360 degrees or VR; the second one requires the use of a virtual reality viewer, (as the Carboard), in which you have to insert your smartphone. Oberalp Convention VR offers you two immersive experiences now, but in the future it will be updated with new contents, which will be notified through push notification.

Oberalp Convention VR is an app, which makes use of a new technology, for this reason it could not correctly work on all devices. You have to be sure that your smarphone is provided with a gyroscope and an accelerometer, as those are the essential features, that guarantee a correct functioning of both Oberalp Convention VR application and all the virtual reality contents, which are available through a smarphone. These sensors enable every device to recognise even the smallest head movements and to adapt therefore the image, which otherwhise would stand still.
